Naltar Valley, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan

Naltar is a valley near Gilgit, Hunza and Nomal, in the Gilgit–Baltistan province of Pakistan.

Naltar Valley is located on 40 Kilometer and about 2 Hour drive from Gilgit Link Road, Pakistan. This place is well known for its wildlife and glorious mountain landscapes, Trekking routes link with Iskoman, Chalt and Punial valley. Transportation is accessible from Gilgit to Naltar but throughout a definite time after those personal arrangements, now the communication services is make possible by the efforts of Pakistan army signal corps. Education rate in this valley is very poor. A government high school and an NLI public school is there at Naltar Bala and a middle school for girls is under construction.

The Naltar Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in the valley that was established on 22 November 1975.
